Located in Muraz (Collombey, Valais), Cave d’Avou embodies the values of passion, hospitality and professionalism that are essential to making exceptional wines. The estate extends over a mosaic of plots spread between Lutry (Vaud) and Lentine (Sion, Valais), reflecting the richness and diversity of the terroirs of French-speaking Switzerland. A wide range of grape varieties are grown here, including classics such as Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chasselas, as well as regional specialities such as Petite Arvine, Humagne and Amigne. Each bottle reflects a balance between respect for tradition and creativity, with the aim of offering authentic and original wines.

The work from vine to bottle is based on meticulous attention to detail and proven expertise. The vines are carefully tended, and the harvests are vinified in a spirit that combines conviviality and expertise. The wines produced, whether red or white, pay tribute to the terroirs in which they were born, combining harmony, balance and character. Whether you want to discover traditional grape varieties or more daring creations, each tasting invites you on a journey to the heart of the terroirs of French-speaking Switzerland.

The bottle design has two main elements. On the one hand, it incorporates the emblematic design of the labels, in particular that of the Marsanne from the Lentine parcel, an exceptional site overlooking the hills of Valère and Tourbillon. On the other, it highlights the triskel, the symbol of the winery, reflecting the values of balance and harmony between nature and expertise.

A bottle that stands out

There are two main elements to the bottle design. On the one hand, it incorporates the emblematic design of the labels, that of the Marsanne from a parcel located in Lentine, an exceptional site overlooking the hills of Valère and Tourbillon. On the other hand, it highlights the triskel, the symbol of the winery, which illustrates the cycle of birth, life and death – echoing the cycle of yeast in wine – and on the other, the know-how of the winemaker through the three phases of his work: sunrise, midday and sunset. The colours, inspired by classic labels, add a distinctive touch: yellow hues for the white wines recall their brilliance and refinement. As for the shape of the bottle, it combines simplicity and originality, creating an elegant case that sublimates the wine and the values associated with it. This design goes beyond its utilitarian function to become a unique object for this edition.
