Domaine Bovy: The elegance of a real gold serigraphed jeroboam
For over a century, the Bovy family has been based in Chexbres, in the heart of the Lavaux region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They cultivate their passion for vines and terroir. In 1995, the fourth generation took over the estate, blending tradition and innovation to sublimate the region’s grape varieties. Celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2023, Domaine Bovy embodies family excellence. It has been practicing eco-responsible methods since the 1990s. Its Chasselas range has won awards, and the estate received the title of “Vigneron d’exception” in 2018 for its “Éclat de Lavaux” vintage. In 2024, the domaine innovated by offering a special jeroboam edition of their grand cru, celebrating the richness and generosity of the terroir. The estate combines ancestral know-how and modernity, a symbol of quality and conviviality.
A historic cellar and exceptional wines
The Domaine Bovy cellar is a work of art and a living testimony to Vaud tradition. Furnished with century-old oak tuns, some decorated with paintings and sculptures by Maurice Bovy, it embodies the know-how handed down from generation to generation. These foudres play a key role in the ageing of white wines, mainly from Chasselas, and develop remarkable finesse and purity. The red wines, on the other hand, are produced with precise vinification techniques, offering complex aromas and a balanced structure. Every step, from vine to bottle, is designed to sublimate the authenticity and richness of the wines produced in the heart of Lavaux. The domaine is a guardian of tradition, while adapting to the expectations of lovers of exceptional wines.
Art Meets Wine: Jeroboams Sublimated by Silk Screen Printing
In the world of exceptional wines, some houses distinguish themselves by more than just the quality of their crus. They also sublimate the aesthetics of their bottles. Such is the case with Domaine Bovy’s Jeroboams, magnified by a silk-screen print in real gold.
The motif depicts a majestic dove, whose wings unfurl into vine leaves. This design pays homage to the house’s original label, imagined by a local artist. It elegantly blends tradition and modernity.
This Jeroboam, designed at the request of a customer, embodies the synergy between winemaking expertise and luxury customization. It testifies to the unique know-how of Domaine Bovy, where the art of winemaking meets design excellence.
