Jean Duboux – Exceptional Chasselas Meets Innovative Designs
Led by Jean and Constance since 2017, the company continues the tradition of a viticultural passion spanning six generations. Across 2.7 hectares, primarily Chasselas as well as other varieties like Pinot Noir and Syrah are cultivated. Since 1979, it has followed an environmentally friendly “integrated production” approach and has been transitioning to organic since 2024. The winemaking process avoids sulfites until the final phase before bottling to ensure the quality and stability of the wines.
Unique Wine Edition: The Idea Behind the Expression Project
The Expression project brings together six exceptional Chasselas wines from three different parcels in an exclusive wooden case. The design on the bottles, created by student Alexandra Cupsa from ECAL, reflects the strength and originality of the winemaker.
Each bottle in this special edition is a work of art in itself, marked by innovative designs that represent six different expressions of Chasselas. These are illustrated not only through the creative shapes of the figures assembled from wine bottles but also through expressive colors that make each bottle a visual experience.
Digital Printing on Glass: Flexibility and Quality
Digital printing plays a key role in presenting this unique wine collection. Thanks to this modern technology, it is possible to decorate even small quantities and special series with high-quality, personalized designs. Digital printing offers exceptional color brilliance and detail accuracy that perfectly highlight the intense colors and creative design. Moreover, this printing technique allows for flexible production, making it possible to realize limited editions and special customer requests.
Why Are Special Series Important?
Special series, like the Expression project, are crucial for the wine industry because they highlight the creative and innovative side of winemaking while creating a deep connection between the wine and its observer. They tell a story, convey a feeling, and offer a unique experience that goes far beyond the enjoyment of wine. Such editions not only increase the visibility and value of the brand but also promote a culture of appreciation for craftsmanship and the diversity of winemaking.
