Liechtstal Vodka is a vodka from the Basel-Landschaft region, more specifically from Itingen. From the meticulous choice of ingredients to the finished bottle, every stage reflects a total commitment to Swiss craftsmanship. At the heart of production, the wort takes shape, an art that demands precision and patience. Delicate processing and perfect temperatures create the ideal base for the vodka’s aromatic depth.

The vodka is then distilled several times by the master distiller, Roland Buser, at the General Sutter Distillery in Sissach BL, in small batches and using the most modern distillation techniques. Each pass refines the liquid until only the heart remains – the best of the best. The manufacturing process highlights local know-how, ensuring impeccable quality at every stage of production.

At the Itingen site (BL), each bottle is filled by hand with meticulous care. Rigorous controls and attention to detail ensure that every bottle meets the most exacting quality standards.

A 100% Swiss Made vodka

When our client set out to create the bottle for Liechtstal Vodka, his ambition was clear and resolute: to design a product that embodied Swiss excellence in every detail, from content to form. The aim was not simply to produce a quality vodka, but to create a true work of art. Every aspect of the design was conceived to reflect the profound values of Switzerland, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation.

By combining local know-how with refined design, Liechtstal Vodka becomes a true tribute to heritage and modernity, offering much more than just a drink.

A Swiss tribute engraved in gold on glass

Liechtstal Vodka’s personalised bottle tells more than just a story; it’s a tribute to Swiss elegance and tradition.

To better understand the inspiration behind this unique design, we spoke to the founder, who explained: ‘Every line and curve has been carefully designed to evoke a feeling of lightness and timeless elegance. The tail of the bottle echoes the traditional Siebedupf, the Basel bar, adorned with its seven ‘crabs’ – a symbol of our deep attachment to the region.’ This meticulous design is a perfect fusion of local craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

This understated yet powerful detail symbolises our deep attachment to the region, gracefully linking local heritage and modernity. But the story doesn’t end there: the luxurious feel of the bottle, made possible by sophisticated screen printing and the use of real gold, invites a unique sensory experience. It’s an object that you admire as much as you feel, a piece of craftsmanship sublimated by the creative vision of Linda Dagli Orti (lindadagliorti.com), whose talent has transformed an idea into a living work of art.
